Building Financial Literacy Through Practical Learning
We've spent years watching people struggle with personal finance decisions. Not because they're careless, but because nobody really taught them how money works in the real world. Our program fills that gap with straightforward guidance you can actually use.
Our next intake begins in September 2025. Sessions run over 12 weeks with flexible evening schedules designed for working professionals across Australia.

The Issues We Keep Seeing
Budgets That Don't Stick
You make a budget in January, it falls apart by February. We teach a tracking method that adapts to your actual spending patterns instead of fighting against them. It's less about restriction and more about awareness.
Investment Confusion
Everyone tells you to invest, but nobody explains what that means in practical terms. We break down different investment options—shares, super contributions, property considerations—without the jargon that makes your eyes glaze over.
Debt Management Stress
Credit cards, personal loans, HECS debt—it piles up faster than you expect. We work through strategies for prioritising repayments and understanding interest rates so you're making informed decisions rather than just hoping for the best.
Who's Actually Teaching This
Our facilitators come from different corners of the finance world. They've all dealt with real client situations and understand that textbook advice doesn't always translate to real life.

What the Twelve Weeks Cover
Each module builds on what came before. You'll work through your own financial situation as we go, so by the end you've got plans specific to your circumstances.
Sessions run Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 7pm to 9pm, starting September 2nd, 2025.
Understanding Your Current Position
We start by mapping where you actually are financially. Income streams, regular expenses, occasional costs you forget about. This gives us a baseline to work from.
Building a Functional Budget
Different budgeting approaches work for different people. We explore a few methods and you pick what feels sustainable for your lifestyle and personality.
Emergency Funds and Safety Nets
How much should you keep accessible? Where should it sit? We calculate what makes sense for your situation and set up a realistic savings plan.
Making Sense of Superannuation
Your super is probably your biggest asset eventually. Understanding how it works, what options you have, and whether you should make extra contributions.
Debt Strategies That Work
Practical approaches to paying down debt faster. Balance transfers, consolidation options, and prioritisation methods based on interest rates and psychological factors.
Investment Foundations
Shares, managed funds, ETFs, property—what each actually involves and how to assess what might suit your risk tolerance and timeline. No pressure to invest before you're ready.
